Gian Marco came to Seattle!
My favorite singer came from Peru to Seattle to performed. I'm a fan of his songs, and the way he writes his music is just too romantic, he is the best! Nils was being so supportive of this event--he is such a wonderful husband. As soon as he found out Gian Marco was coming he bought us tickets. During the concert I didn't just sing, I was screaming! If this had been the last thing I got to do, I would have died a happy person. I had a great time, he played all the songs I wanted to hear, and this experience was one of the ones that will stay forever with me. I feel like the luckiest girl!!! I didn't just get to see my favorite artist sing but I got to spend this special performance with the man I love. We celebrated our 9 month anniversary with the best singer in the world.

Why do I love him?
My husband is my Prince Charming. He is such an awesome guy, he is so patient with me, kind, funny, and lovely. I love the way he makes me feel like his princess, the only girl in the world. I love the way that he loves me. I love the way that we are silly together. I love that he is not afraid to cry. I love how he always makes me feel butterflies. I love that he wants to experience everything together. I love his intelligence, his curiosity, his willingness to learn new things. I love the way he speaks Spanish to me. I love that way he looks at me and make me smile. I love that he understands me and always know what I'm talking about even when I don't even know what I'm saying. I love holding his hand and when he kisses mine. I love that he is romantic. I love when we look into each other's eyes and the rest of the world disappears. I love that he has a huge heart and cares about our families the same. I love the way he looks, he is sooo handsome. I love that he can fix anything. I love that he kisses me in the mornings before he goes to work. I love that he gets along with everybody and he can talk to anyone about anything. I love the way he explains things to me and laughs when I say dumb things. I love that he has opened the car door for me ever since we met. I love when he goes to the kitchen just to hug me. I love that we can talk about anything and everything and how open we can be with each other. I love that he loves taking pictures as much as I do. I love that he lets me love Disney and act like a kid around him. I love that he goes watch girlie movies with me. I love that we talk about our future children and have already pick their names. I love when he dances with me even when he has no idea what he is doing. I love when we go shopping for him but he always manages to find something for me. I love when he makes breakfast for me. I love that we love the same shows. I love his family. I love the love he has for others. I love how close he had gotten to my family, he is such a great example for my brothers. I love his laugh, his voice. I love that he lets me be me, even when I'm loud. I love looking at his baby pictures. I love re-reading his messages. He takes good care of me and Charlie. I love that he loves animals, maybe not as much as I do but he does, and I love that he lets me love them. I love when he surprises me with flowers just because and he tries his hardest to hide his clues, so that I can actually be surprised. I love the ring he picked for me to marry him, to be his wife. This man shows me his love every day in so many different ways, and I just feel so blessed for having him in my life, as part of my life. I'm so proud and happy to be called Mrs. Sundelin.

FIRE!!!
A few nights ago we had a little "situation". I wanted to eat some popcorn so I put it in the microwave for 5 minutes, as the instructions said. While I was waiting for my popcorn to finish, I got distracted by an intense scene from the season premiere of "FlashForward". Next thing I knew I was surrounded by a cloud of smoke billowing out of the microwave. My popcorn was burned, and our house smelled terrible. Luckily Nils rushed to yank the battery out of the fire alarm before it went off and started beeping. It was horrible and a little bit scary. So at the end of the night I got no popcorn and our kitchen still stinks : (
Conclusion: Don't always follow the directions! .... or.... just listen to your husband.
Got bunny love?
We sure do! We love our little Wendy so very much. We fell in love with her the minute we met her. She has the prettiest colors, she is very unique, she enjoys jumping around and making us laugh. She looks extremely adorable when she wears her stylish dresses. She may not behave as well as a trained pet but I don't think you can train a bunny. We try our best to be patient with her. Some days are better than others, some days I want to think that she knows her name and she knows what she does, but she doesn't. No matter how badly she behaves, no matter how big of a hole she ripped out of the carpet, no matter how many times she nibbles on our socks, we can't stop loving her. We can't stop taking care of her, no matter how mad she makes us. She is our first pet, she is our first rabbit, she is our sweetest little girl who is now turning one year old.
Happy Birthday our sweet little Wendy!

Big changes at the Sundelin home
Last month we found the cutest little puppy in the world and fell in love with him. We decided to make him part of our family (named him Charlie) and just like that we started a new chapter in our lives. When you get a puppy there are a lot of changes that come along with him. First of all, we have to move to a new apartment where we are allowed to have a dog. We were lucky enough that we found a place that we both liked on our first day on the hunt. Charlie will be ready to come home with us by the end of April, so we have to make sure we got all the stuff he needs for his arrival. We also have to watch out for Wendy, because she has been the only pet in the house and we want to make sure they get along just fine, but how do you get a rabbit ready for another pet? We don't know how or if it's going to work out but we sure hope so because we love and want to keep them both.

Our Love Story
Everything started when one of us pressed the "accept friend request" button on the bottom of facebook. We don't know exactly how everything started, maybe with a "how do I know you?" message. The thing is once we started chatting we couldn't stop. We got along great, somehow talking to each other made the days go super easy. Chatting online probably sounds lame, but there was nothing lame about our relationship, maybe a little different than the usual, but what do you expect? He was all the way in Seattle and I was all the way in San Diego and starting a relationship wasn't in my plans. But I couldn't resist to Nils, he made me fall in love with him so fast and without me even knowing. We both had crazy exes that tried to get in the way, but our love was already strong and nobody could break us apart. We talked online for about 2 to 3 months and finally we decided to meet, so he took a plane to spend a weekend with me. During that weekend we realized how much we cared about each other and how bad we wanted to continue our "crazy" relationship. Our first date was amazing. We spent the day at Sea World and had lunch with Shamu.
While in Utah we talked alot, chatted alot and eventually decided to move in together. We weren't expecting our families to approve of our decision but even back then we already knew that we wanted to be together forever and moving in together would accelerate that process (that's what I thought). And so, after many fights and arguments and tears from our loved ones, we did it. We knew it was the right decision for us even though not everyone saw it that way. On February 15Th '09 I moved to Kirkland, WA. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made because it meant I could be closer to the man I loved and assured me that I had found my Prince Charming.
At night we went to an Italian restaurant in La Jolla--it was sooo yummy. Every moment we spent together was just awesome. I decided to move to Utah and Nils "volunteered", after I asked him, to drive me up there. It was around New Years time, so we stopped in Vegas for the appropriate celebration.
Nils and I talked about marriage alot and he told me he wanted to marry me, but the time went by and I couldn't wait any longer so I did what I do best, I made sure to put the right clues for him to hurry up and propose. For example, remember that song" Single Ladies" from Beyonce? Well, I played it over and over and over again "If you like it put a ring on it". I knew he was probably searching for the perfect ring but I couldn't wait so I sang and talked about weddings ALOT! So, finally on May 11Th he took me to La Jolla Cove and proposed to me. It was perfect! We were in San Diego for my cousin's wedding and he thought of everything. He knows how much I love my family and how happy it would make me to share that moment with them. We were extremely happy, we shared some happy tears and our feelings for each other. He said he was nervous but I don't why, he knew I was going to say yes! And just like that we were engaged and a month later we got married. I think if anyone asked me "why so fast?" my answer would be "why not?". I mean, we knew we wanted to be get married and so we did--we loved each other. We got married at the Redmond Court House on June 27Th, 2009 and even though I grew up dreaming of a big wedding and alot of other details, I realized that none of that really matters. The important thing was that I had found my soul mate and getting married to him was all I'd ever wanted and everything I'd ever dreamed of. What can I say? We were just meant to be.
