Babies everywhere!

I have a lot of friends but only 2 ( so far) are consider my forever best friends: Jacky is my best friend from Peru and Alicia is my best friend from Murrieta and they are both having babies. I keep thinking of all of the times we spent together and how fast life really goes by.

When I was in Peru Jacky was my best friend, we were like sisters. We had so many great adventures. We went trhough first boyfriends, same school and had so much fun together. She just had her beautiful baby girl Luciana.

 I moved to Southern California when I was 17 and met Alicia when I was 18. We worked together and hang out almost everyday, we became inseparable,we have such an amazing journey together. She just had her baby boy, Ryder, and I feel so lucky for having the opportunity to meet him, he is perfect!
I'm extremelly happy for my besties, and I wish them the best! I know they'll be such a great moms, and I can't wait for all of their tips I'll get when my time comes. I feel so bless for having such amazing friends, they helped me to grow and to find who I am. They were there when I needed them and the only ones that I could always trust no matter what. I've been trough a lot with each of them, and I just want to thank them for being so amazing to me. I love you girls!

Nils' 30th birthday, Valentine's day and Liv's birthday!

Nils turned 30 this year and we celebrated big! On Saturday night we went out to dinner to a Brazilian's restaurant with Tore and Tiffany and it was very yummy. After dinner, we met up with Nils' friends at "Game works" (a huge arcade). We stayed there for 3 hours and had lots of fun. On Sunday night we invited Aunt Anita, Tore, Tiffany and the kids over for dinner and cake. I made one of Nils' favorite dishes lasagna and vanilla cake with cherry frosting. After eating, Nils opened his gifts and we sang happy birthday to him. He had a very special weekend and he was very happy to celebrated with everybody he loves.

Monday was Valentine's day and Nils surprised me with the best Valentine's gift ever. This is what I saw when I opened our bedroom door:

A guitar!!!

I love my husband so very much. I wasn't expenting him to give me this faboluos gift. He always find a way to surprise me and everything he does makes me fall in love all over again with him. Sometimes I think that he doesn't listen to whatever I'm saying but how little did I know, he was paying attention to what I want to do next, to learn how to play a guitar. We had a good Valentine's day, we stayed home and ate some left overs from the night before. I love spending our evenings together and we definitly had the best weekend so far.
The next day was our sweet niece Liv's birthday and we went to her house to wish her a happy birthday. We ate pizza together, she opened her gifts from everybody and ate some cake. We love her so much, she is the smartest and cutest 7 year old girl. Nils loves sharing this month with her and we love spending time with her and her syblings.

We got her a super cute dress (that I wish they have it on my size) and a peruvian purse. She was so happy with all of her gifts and we are so glad we got to spent her birthday with her. We love you Liv!!!

Where did January go?

I can't believe it's February already. I'm actually kind of glad January is over, because I'm not a big fan of that month. It's always cold, the days feel so short and it rains ALOT! We did get some snow this January which it made a ONE fun nigh. So far, I've taken about 3 pictures from this year, which is not me at all, so hopefully February would bring some fun and I'll get the chance to take more than 3 pictures per month.
