Crazy weekend

This past weekend was a little crazy. Saturday morning I went shopping with my friend Angel and didn't get back home until 3 pm while Nils spent the morning with his friend Alex, wife and kid that were visiting from Utah. By the time I got back home Nils had already made plans to go out again and hang out a little more with his friend and family, so Charlie stayed the whole Saturday home alone : (

Sunday morning was mother's day. Nils wanted to make it special for me since one day I'll be the mother of his kids. He woke up really early to take care of Charlie ( 7 am) and let me sleep a little longer than usual. When I woke up I realized I was home alone, and all I got was a note:

When they arrived Nils cooked breakfast and gave me the sweetest card ever with a gift card for a spa day. I was very surprise with the gift, I wasn't expecting it at all. I do have the best husband ever!After eating breakfast and sharing some happy tears, we decided to invite Nils' friend Jeff and family over for dinner. I tried a new recipe and it was delicious! We all loved it! I also tried Tiffany's strawberry pie recipe (yum). We had an awesome day, a super busy weekend but the best of times.
