Good News

Today I had an interview with USCIS to take the Citizenship test about my knowledge of American History, civics and English. Well, I arrived this morning to the USCIS building very nervous (I hate taking oral tests) and after I completed the test and passed, the very nice officer who did the interview asked me if I had time to stay longer because there was a Naturalization Oath Ceremony happening today at noon. Of course I said yes (since I can never say no anyway) and agreed to go to the ceremony and take the pledge. So as of today 1/10/2013 I'm finally an American citizen! Yay!

Our amazing trip to Peru

Nils and I went to Peru for two weeks in September and loved every minute of it. It was Nils' first time visiting and meeting my family and it had been ten years since the last time I was there.
Our highlights of the trip were definetly seeing everybody and spent time together as well as Machu Picchu and paraglading over the Lima Coast.
We had fun
We ate delicious food
We enjoyed time with family and friends
We loved our Peru trip!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with the Sundelins from Duvall this year and we had a great time. Nils was in charge of the turkey for the 2nd year and he will probably be in charge for the rest of his life. (He cooks it very well). We didn't take many pictures but here are the two I like the most.

The Sundelins came to visit

Last month, Nils' parents came to visit and we made some time to have some fun. We went to downtown  for some touring. We rode on the duck bus and walked around Pike Place Market.

On Saturday July 28th, Nils' cousin Anna got married and we all went to her wedding. Here are a couple of pictures of that day.
