Today I had an interview with USCIS to take the Citizenship test about my knowledge of American History, civics and English. Well, I arrived this morning to the USCIS building very nervous (I hate taking oral tests) and after I completed the test and passed, the very nice officer who did the interview asked me if I had time to stay longer because there was a Naturalization Oath Ceremony happening today at noon. Of course I said yes (since I can never say no anyway) and agreed to go to the ceremony and take the pledge. So as of today 1/10/2013 I'm finally an American citizen! Yay!

Animals are a big thing in our family, so far we have Charlie the shih tzu but more to come. We love our family and treasure every moment we spend together.
