A Sad Goodbye : (

I can't believe Oprah is really gone! Did you guys see the last episode? : ( I cried from the beggining to the end. I'll sure miss her! I hope she gets a show on her network, because I love her show! Charlie was a little upset he didn't get to be on her show, but we don't even care anymore, we already want her back! . Good thing, she left me her e mail and told me to just write to her whenever, so at least I would still keep in touch with her.
Is anybody else as sad as I am?

A busy weekend

My friend Daniela came to visit for four days last week. She is a friend from Peru that lives in Pensylvania, we went to school together on our 9th grade. While she was here we did a lot of fun stuff. On, thusrday we met up at Angel's house and went shopping. Friday was Angel's early birthday celebration, so we went and got madi/pedis, did some more shopping and went to Olive Garden. After that they went to Angel's house to get some rest while Nils and I went to Beckett's birthday party. Can you believe he is 2 now? Crazy! He is super cute! I love it how he says my name even when he is refering to Nils. I may be his favorite : )


We hung out there for a little bit and spent some time with the birthday boy. After the party we had another party to get ready for, so we hurry up home and met up with Daniela and Angel at our place. Nils hurt his uncle playing basketball on Wednesday, and by friday it was still not good. So, Nils stayed home while the three of us went to a club and dance all night long.
I didn't make it back home till like 4 am, we did stopped at denny's to eat. Saturday we went to pike place, gum wall took some pictures, went out to eat at the peruvian restaurant, and came back to our place to play some karaoke.

Sunday was Daniela's last day : ( Angel's parents invited us over to go have breakfast at their house. This was the first time Charlie met Angel's family, they loved him! Unfortunatly Nils and I couldn't go with them to the zoo because I had homework to do and Nils had some work to get done , so we met up with them later for dinner. We went to Bucca de Beppo, Nils' favorite italian place and after to B&O for desert. After our sweet treat it was goodbye time. I'm a crier and I did have some happy tears but i tried to hide them, it was so nice to have Daniela visiting, I seriously laugh the whole time I hung out with her, she is super funny and I just love her! Good thing we get to hang out with her in just a couple of months when Nils and I go to the East Coast!!! Can't wait! : )

Update

1. I started school about 2 months ago, and yes it's true: school takes ALOT of my free time. I don't even know what "free time" is anymore. Anyway, school is great! I had to drop off one of my classes because I was seriously about to kill somebody, so now that I don't have it anymore things are way better. I'm only 2 weeks away from finishing this quarter. I stayed with sociology and english, and I promise I 'm trying really hard to get A's on both. Nils has been a great teacher to me, he is awesome! He is super patiente and he just pushes me to do well even if that means no fun for him.

2. The Snows came to visit a couple of weeks before I started school. They were only in town for a day, but we loved having them. We ate alot during that day, we took to one of Nils and I favorite restaurants "Coastal Kitchen" for breakfast, went to the Japanese Garden, went to pike place and walked around for a bit. Jared tried his first oyster ever! and he liked it, we brought them to our apartment so the boys could watch the basketball game and the girls could chit chat. Charlie loved them! And, we went out to dinner to NOW my favorite place " Fish Grill" yummy!

3. Another excited event was the Easter Egg Hunt in Duvall with the Sundelins. We love spending time with our nieces and nephew, they are too cute! We took Charlie with us that day and he had so much fun! I think Nils just loved that we got some of the kids candy to take back home with us.
4. I got a job : ) around the same time I started school. I'm a nanny to Madison, she is the cutest 2 year old little girl ever! I love all the conversations I get to have with her every morning. The first couple of weeks were a little rough on her, just because I was the new person in her life, but now, we get along just fine! : ) I love the way she says my name : Calla/ Callala She loves Disney, so you can imagine I'm bananas over her! The onther day I asked her who was the princess she has on her rug? She said Claudia ( it was princess Tiana, from the princess and the frog) she craks me up! Her birthday was actually during the time I wasn't blogging, she had a minnie mouse/ buzz birthday party. I made her some mini mouse cupcakes : )
And also bought her some cute pink sandals that she loves! The funniest thing is that every day I go to see her, she wants to wear them. She is just too cute!!! : )

my boy

Charlie is been so good with me lately. I've been driving my new car everywhere and I've been taking Charlie with me. At first, I thought it would be a mistake to take him with me, specially because I just started driving and got my license not too long ago. Surprisingly Charlie behaved just fine. He never jump on my lap or destroy something in the car. He is becoming such a good listener ( or so I want to think).

Not so friendly dog : (

Yesterday I was on my way to the gym, when I got to the bottom of the stairs and saw the dog that lives downstairs from. I asked the owner if his dog was friendly and if I could pet him ( since he was already on my face), and he said: sure! So I pet the dog, and the owner pull him towards him so I could go on with my day, I walked around the dog and out of nowhere the dog bit me on my leg. Eveything happen super fast, I didn't see him coming at me or when he actually bit me. When I check my leg it didn't look bad. I think he could have made a bigger damage if his owner didn't react quicky, but I'm glad he pull him away fast and that I'm ok. Wanna know which dog was it? A Weimaraner!!!

I used to want one, but after the experience I got yesterday, I'm not so sure anymore. From now on, I'm staying away from the dog downstairs, specially after reading that these dogs would attack any small animal that could get around them, like Charlie.

Vroom Vroom

We bought a car! A 2008 Toyota Camry, and we love it! This car is perfect for me, it has everything I've always wanted in a car. It's a sexy looking car ; )

American Idol : )

I love American Idol, and I'm super excited is back! After watching all of the auditions and finally getting to the final 13 I have my favorites.

From the girls, my favorite is: Lauren Alaina, she is super talented, I love her voice and she has such a cute personality. I can't believe she is only 16! I believe, she'll be one of the finalist.

On all of the seasons from American Idol I always have a little crush on one of the guys, last season I had a little crush on Casey James.But this seasonmy favorite guy is: Paul McDonald. His voice is so unique and I'm becoming a fan! I would pay to see this guy, he is very handsome and I love seeing him on stage. He is amazing and he will be on the finals Lauren.

Everybody knows that I'm not a country music fan, but Scotty McCreery is changing me. I'm not sure that I love it now, but he has an amazing voice, and I enjoy listening to him sing me some country.
